THE DSC
The DSC is an academic centre designed to facilitate scholarly activities, including research and teaching. We are governed by the U of A Library's Community Expectations.
We offer collaboration, classroom and studio space to support meetings, events, research, and creativity.
SPACE BOOKING POLICIES
- Access to our collaboration rooms is limited to U of A faculty, graduate students, staff, and researchers only.
- Requests for use of space by U of A Alumni, visiting scholars, community partners, Edmonton-based educational institutions, and members of the public will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- We reserve the right to decline booking requests that do not fit our booking policies.
- General study room bookings for current U of A students, staff, and faculty that do not meet our guidelines are available at other U of A Library locations with your CCID.

Recording videos, podcasts, or presentations. | Recurring meetings related to the curriculum, staff development, or faculty retreats. |
Testing the space and technology before a planned event. | Students Union group or club meetings. |
Consultations with librarians, researchers, staff, and other U of A community members. | Conference organizing service requests. |
Graduate student group meetings, events, and activities. | Requests for events that fall outside of regular operating hours. |
