Communications
If you want to send us a story idea, upcoming event or simply want to ask a question about communication support, please connect with us through the communications email account: lmcomms@ualberta.ca.
The Library Communications Strategy Committee serves the Library and its units/teams to communicate the Library story both on and off-campus. It's our job to create impact through publishing stories on the Library website, e-newsletters and social media. We can support communication plans, efforts or work by the following:
- advice and development of communication plans, and stories tying unit and team outcomes into overarching UAL and UA communication plans and strategies
- media relations (includes, writing press releases, media advisories managing issues)
- storytelling (includes writing features and news stories that could be published to the UAL website)
- marketing to e-newsletters internally to UAL, as well UAlberta digests etc
- access to the Library's storytelling platforms (internal and external e-newsletters, the news section of the UAL website, and the Library social media accounts)
- advice on UAL web content and best practices on digital strategy
- advice on how to engage with UA communication platforms and alumni
