The University Libraries offer wireless internet access points for current University of Alberta student, faculty and staff use. If you have a laptop and wireless network card, you will have wireless access to: library catalogues and databases, course websites, e-mail and internet
Wireless via UWS available at the following library locations:
- Rutherford North - Full coverage, Floors 1-5
- Cameron Library (Science and Technology) - Available in all public areas.
- H.T.Coutts- Full coverage in all public areas, Main Floor, 2nd Floor, & basement.
- John A. Weir Memorial Law Library - Full coverage, Floors 2-3
- John W. Scott Health Sciences Library - Level 1, Level 1A and Level 2:
- Rutherford South - Reading Room (Floor 2)
- Winspear Business Reference Library - Coverage on all floors
- Augustana Campus Library - Available in all public areas.
- Bibliothèque Saint-Jean - Available in all public areas.

- Several Western Canadian post-secondary institutions have agreed to provide access to their wireless networks to visiting students, faculty and staff of cooperating institutions.

NOTE: Printing to ONECard printers via the wireless network is not currently supported. If you need to print something from your laptop hard drive, copy it to a flash drive and print from a library public computer.
